Youth Development

Where the foundation gets built. This program develops the fundamentals every young athlete needs — movement quality, strength basics, speed, agility and coordination — in a coached, supportive environment kids genuinely want to come back to. No ego, no being thrown in the deep end: just smart, age-appropriate training that sets them up for everything that comes next.

How it works
  • Coached group sessions — every athlete gets eyes on their technique
  • Fundamental strength, running mechanics, agility and coordination each week
  • Capped numbers so coaching stays personal
  • Train 2 or 4 sessions per week — Mon / Wed / Fri at 4:00pm, plus access to mixed sessions Tue / Thu & Sat

Intermediate Development

For athletes who’ve got the basics and are ready to push. The focus shifts to building real strength and speed — proper barbell training with coached technique, sprint and change-of-direction work, and the injury-prevention habits that keep developing bodies on the park. This is the tier where the gap between athletes starts to show, and where the work starts to pay.

How it works
  • Coached group sessions following a structured, progressing program
  • Strength, power, speed and injury prevention built into every week
  • Progress tracked so athletes see their numbers climb
  • Train 2 or 4 sessions per week — Mon / Wed / Fri at 5:00pm, plus access to mixed sessions Tue / Thu & Sat

High Performance

For athletes chasing the top — senior footballers, rep-level juniors, semi-pros and anyone serious about their sport. It starts with a 1-on-1 consult where we map your sport, season, history and goals, then we build a fully personalised program around it. You train it at The Hub with a coach across your sessions, and we adjust as your season demands.

How it works
  • 1-on-1 consult first — your program is built, not pulled off a shelf
  • Personalised programming, periodised around your season
  • Unlimited sessions per week, structured by your training plan — across mixed sessions (Tue / Thu 6:00am & 4:30pm, Sat 7:15am) and by arrangement
  • Testing, benchmarks and program reviews as you progress
Join High Performance

Ages are a guide, not a gate. Placement at The Hub is based on development and training experience, not just birthdays — a strong 13-year-old might train Intermediate, a new 16-year-old might start in Youth Development. Development level also guides which session times suit each athlete best, and we’ll sort all of that with you at the first session.

Upfront discounts apply to standard weekly rates across any program ($45/wk and $65/wk cover both Youth and Intermediate at 2 or 4 sessions a week). Otherwise, memberships are simply billed weekly.

Join In Three Steps

Pick your program

Choose your tier and 2 or 4 sessions a week. Not sure where you fit? Sign up anyway — we place every athlete on ability at their first session.

Sign up online

Secure checkout, billed weekly. You’ll get your waiver straight after — two minutes and it’s done.

Show up and train

You’ll receive your session details and app access before your first week. Turn up, meet your coach, get to work.

The Facility

Find The Hub

20 Expo Ct, Ashmore QLD — central Gold Coast, minutes from Southport, Labrador and Benowa. Purpose-built for athlete development: racks, sleds, sprint space and a coached floor, not a commercial gym crowd.

Parking on site. Parents welcome to stay and watch.


FAQ

Good Questions

Which program is right for my child?

Use the age guides as a starting point, but don’t stress about getting it perfect — placement is ability-based and we assess every athlete in their first session. If a different tier suits them better, we’ll move them, no fuss.

What sports do you cater for?

All of them. Our athletes come from AFL, netball, rugby, soccer, basketball, athletics and more. Strength, speed and movement quality transfer to every sport — and High Performance programs are built around your specific sport.

What should we bring to the first session?

Training gear, runners, a water bottle and a towel. Everything else is on the floor waiting.

Can we pause or cancel?

Memberships are billed weekly. Chat to us about pausing around injury, holidays or school commitments — we’d rather work with you than lose you.
